The Chinese Economists Society (CES) calls for paper submissions for its 2013? CES China Conference, to be held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, JUNE 8-9 (Friday through Sunday), 2013. The local host for the conference is Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. The theme of the conference is ?The Chinese Financial System in Transition: Reforms, Policies, and Practices?. The conference consists of keynote and invited talks, roundtable forums, and parallel sessions. Arrival and registration of participants will take place on June 7. All speeches and sessions will be held June 8-9, and June 10 is reserved for post conference activities such as continuing education programs or sightseeing.
CES invites both CES and non- CES members to present papers and/or to propose organized sessions at the 2013 Conference. All fields of specialization within economics will be considered. Papers focusing on the Chinese economy and on the proposed conference theme will be given preference. The paper submission deadline is February 1st, 2013.
PAPER SUBMISSIONS?
Individual paper submissions in English should at least include a title, an abstract of no more than 400 words and JEL code(s) with keywords. Those who submit a full paper together with an abstract will be considered with priority. All papers should be submitted via CES website at www.china-ces.org. You may submit only ONE paper. If you have a second paper to submit, it must be submitted and (if accepted) presented by your co-author. You will receive a notification by e-mail once your paper is accepted (or rejected) by March 15th, 2013. Individual paper submission in Chinese should follow the guideline at the Chinese conference website at [http://riem.swufe.edu.cn].
ORGANIZED SESSIONS?
If you would like to organize one or more sessions on a specific topic and have speakers/presenters lined up, please contact Professor Tony Fang, CES President, for approval at Tfang06@gmail.com by January 15th, 2013. The organized session should consist of 3 to 4 names of session presenters and their e-mails. Please note that papers included in the session must still go through the regular paper submission process through the CES website. However, the ?Comments? section of the form should make reference to the special session (e.g.? ?This paper is part of a special session on Urbanization organized by Prof. So and So). The applicable submission deadline is also February 1st, 2013.?
